OUDE KERK 2014 - call for voice performers

Have you, for any more or less obscure reason, developed a talent for creating a particular sound that reminds you of an animal?

I believe that there is a growing distance in the relationship between humans and animals, and it makes me a bit sad. Some months ago I started to collect sounds from people who have a talent to imitate an animal. I think it is fascinating how a human voice is able to imitate an animal. I think it’s beautiful that there are exists some kind of motivation to create unknown sounds, and that we identify them with animals. You all have very different and very characteristic types of sounds. Some of you have known about your talent since you were a child, some are new to it. 

I have a group of performers, but I need a few more. So, if you have any kind of experience of creating a sound similar to that of an animal, let me record you! Then I will tell you more about my choir performance and you can decide wether you want to join or not. 

Even if you have no experience, but are still curious about how you can use your voice in this way, let me know and I can guide you!
